Ernakulam blast Live updates: Congress slams Kerala government over Ernakulam blasts; border states on alert
 

A series of blasts was reported at a Christian group's convention centre in Kerala's Kalamassery on Sunday morning, leading to the death of one person and injuring over 40 others, as reported by local police. A four-member National Investigation Agency (NIA) team, together with local law enforcement, is currently investigating the incident.

Michigan Supreme Court rejects attempt to remove Trump from ballot Ruling keeps former President Trump on Michigan's 2024 primary ballot The Michigan Supreme Court has rejected an attempt to remove former  President Trump  from the state's 2024 Republican primary ballot. The decision comes after the  Colorado Supreme Court last week  disqualified Trump from appearing on that state's ballots in 2024. The disqualification, which was made under the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, is related to the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021.   "Significantly, Colorado’s election laws differ from Michigan’s laws in a material way that is directly relevant to why the appellants in this case are not entitled to the relief they seek concerning the presidential primary election in Michigan," Justice Elizabeth Welch wrote Wednesday, explaining the court's ruling.   ULFA, Centre, Assam govt sign tripartite peace accord The pro-talks faction of ULFA, a separatist outfit was founded in 1979 to wage an armed struggle for an independent Assam. In a shot in the arm for the ruling BJP, the United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA)’s pro-talks faction on Friday signed a tripartite Memorandum of Settlement with the Centre and the Assam government in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.   The ULFA pro-talks faction was represented by a 16-member delegation led by its chairperson Arabinda Rajkhowa. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma was also present. Two top leaders of the Rajkhowa group have been in the National Capital since last week. According to  PTI , the outfit’s general secretary, Anup Chetia, held talks with peace interlocutor A K Mishra on Tuesday.
