Big Action By Election Commission! Officers Transferred In 5 States Including Bihar-Jharkhand
The Election Commission has issued orders for transfer of some officers in view of the Lok Sabha elections.
Since the announcement of Lok Sabha election dates, the Election Commission of India seems to be in strict mode. In fact, ECI has ordered administrative transfers in some states. Orders have been issued to transfer 8 District Magistrates (DM) and 12 Superintendents of Police (SP) in five states Assam, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh.

Let us tell you that all these officers will not be assigned any election duty till the completion of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. According to the information, these state governments have also been directed to send a panel of names of IAS and IPS officers to the Commission.
6 Home Secretaries were removed recently
Earlier, the Election Commission had issued instructions to remove the Home Secretaries of Gujarat, UP-Bihar, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Along with this, an order was also given to remove the Secretary of General Department of Mizoram and Himachal Pradesh. The ECI had directed all state governments to transfer those officers associated with election related work who have completed 3 years (in post) or are posted in their home districts.
